How does parking work?
Most of our homes have off street parking available for one vehicle. Either in a parking ramp, garage, or driveway. Please read descriptions fully to make sure our parking situation fits your needs.

What is the maximum occupancy for the suites?
Occupancy varies based on the size of the home.
What is the Pet Policy?
Some of our homes allow dogs, please reach out to our staff for the list of properties. There is a one-time fee associated with bringing your pet with you. Service Animals are allowed in all homes no matter what the individual home’s pet policy is.
What Is The Cancellation Policy? Effective from 11/2023
Travelers who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% MINUS a 3% CC Fee. If they cancel between 14 and 7 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50%. Inside of 7 days no refund will be issued. If we are able to re-rent the property, we will reimburse Guest for what we were able to re-book the unit for, less twenty five percent (25%) for administrative fees. Minnestay highly recommends purchasing Travel Insurance through us at the time of booking to avoid potential travel complications.

Yes, we do! However, we do charge a 1% fee on all American Express transactions.
Is the cleaning fee optional?
No, sorry. We pride ourselves on the consistency of professionally cleaned properties upon your arrival. We have no way to ensure a unit is to our standards if the previous guest cleans the unit. Our cleaning staff is required to meet very strict standards for each and every checkout. This is for the benefit of all of our guests and staff.
When do I need to pay for my reservation?
We require the full amount due at time of booking.
Do You Allow Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties?
Unfortunately, since our rentals are located in residential communities, we do not allow bachelor/bachelorette parties or parties of any kind in our rentals.

Do You Allow Late Check-outs?
A late check-out can only be approved on the day of departure. They are dependent on whether or not the cleaning staff has time to fully clean the home before the next guest’s arrival. If guests are checking in on the same day that your reservation ends, a late check-out is not allowed as it will not allow the housekeeper enough time to fully prepare the property for the next guest. Call or email us 24 hours prior to departure day to see if a late check-out is available.
How do I obtain access to the home?
Depending on the type of property you have reserved, access to the home may differ:
Sable properties: On the day of arrival, you will receive a text with a code for retrieving your keys and parking pass from our key delivery system, KeyCafe, which is located in the main entry of the building. To use KeyCafe, use the screen on the rightmost cabinet, start the process for picking up a key, and enter your code when prompted. A box will open to reveal your keys and parking pass. Remove the keychain and shut the door. Please note: the main front door of the Sable building is locked from 9pm-7am and you will need a code to enter during those times. The code will be found in your Minnestay Guest Portal. Your gray key FOB will work on all exterior doors that enter Sable from the ramp during that time period.
Residential Homes: On the day of arrival, the door access information will populate in your Minnestay Guest Portal.
What Do I Need To Do Before Check-out?
Check-out is at 11am (central time). Our check-out procedure is very simple: load and start the dishwasher; drop all dirty towels on the bathroom floor; make sure all doors are locked and any physical keys are returned to the lock box. If you are a guest at Sable, don’t forget to move your car out of the parking ramp before you return your keys and parking pass to KeyCafe! Unauthorized late check outs will be assessed a per hour fee.
What If I’m Not Arriving Until After 4pm?
That’s perfectly fine! Your unit will not be ready until 4pm but since we have a self-catered check-in system, you can easily check in at any time that works for you after 4pm.
What if my door code does not work?
Please call us immediately at 612-216-5511 (8am-10pm) or 612-441-2066 (10pm-8am). We have staff on call 24/7 to resolve these matters as quickly as possible. If you are unable to reach a staff member, leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as we are able.

Do You Provide Pack-n-play Cribs?
We unfortunately do not provide pack-n-play cribs.
What If We Have A Maintenance Emergency During Our Stay?
Please call us immediately (612-216-5511) and follow the prompts. We have managers and maintenance staff on call 24/7 to resolve these matters as quickly as possible.
Can I Bring my Pet?
We love animals, but some of our properties do not allow pets of any kind. Please check with Minnestay before bringing your pet as there are size and breed restrictions. There is also a pet fee that is required if bringing your pet.
Can I Rent This For My Children And Their Friends?
One of the occupants staying in the home must be over the age of 25. If no one is staying in the home over age 25, the party may be removed without a refund offered. The reservation name and contact must be of the person who is 25+ so they can be contacted and return to the home if required.
How Old Do I Need To Be To Reserve A Home?
Our guests must be 25 years or older to reserve a property, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times, this is a rule that cannot be changed.
Is Smoking And/or Vaping Allowed In Or Around Your Properties?
Absolutely not. Smoking and vaping of any kind is prohibited on the rented premises, including roofs & outdoor common areas, and heavy fines will apply according to the rental contract.
