Golfing is a great way to enjoy Minnesota’s beautiful landscape with its scenic lakes and mature trees. You won’t even have to stray far from the city to find beautiful courses with a secluded atmosphere. Either way, we have rentals all over the Twin Cities area.
Things to Do
Bluff Creek Golf Course
Kids 17 and under play for free after the last posted tee time of the night (no earlier than 6:53 p.m. in the middle of summer) any day of the week, and the adult just pays $1.00 per hole. It’s a great way to introduce your kids to golf without making a dent in the wallet!
Braemar Golf Courses
Braemar Park features a driving range and both a nine-hole course and an 18-hole course, for a total of 27 holes! Its 500 acres have a feeling of seclusion amidst its urban setting, only 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.
Como Golf Course
The Como 18-Hole Golf Course is nestled behind the historic Como Park Zoo & Conservatory and sits across from the scenic Lake Como. The course has a par 70, plays 5,581 yards from the middle tees, and has a rating of 67.5 and a slope of 122.
Edinburgh USA
Edinburgh USA, located in Brooklyn Park, is one of the top public golf courses in the country! It’s known for its famous 17th hole, which has an island fairway and a peninsula for a green. The course is also the site of the biggest putting green in the U.S., which houses its 9th, 18th, and practice green totaling 40,000 square feet.
Halla Greens Chanhassen Executive Golf Course
Halla Greens Chanhassen Executive Golf Course is a par 29 with multiple sets of tees. The course is perfect for both the advanced player working on their approach shots into greens and the beginner golfer trying to get a feel for the game. The fast-paced course is typically played in less than two hours.
Hiawatha 18-Hole Golf Course
This par 73 course is located next to Lake Hiawatha, south of Minneapolis. Its 18 holes sit on a mostly flat 140 acres with 12 ponds, mature trees, and small greens.
Highland 9 Golf Course
The regulation Highland 9 Golf Course, with a par 35, is 3,000 yards from the back tees. Mature trees frame the fairways and large greens provide a challenge for all levels of golfers.
Highland National Golf Course
Highland National offers modern amenities with the feel of a grand old traditional course. This is an 18-hole, 3,200-6,600 yard, par 72 course with a 71.2 rating.
Keller Golf Course
Keller Golf Course, with its nearly 100-year history, boasts rich tradition. Through the years, the course has hosted several PGA and LPGA tours. After reopening to the public in 2014, Keller received the Best Municipal Renovation of 2014 from Golf Magazine.
Meadowbrook Golf Course
Meadowbrook Golf Course features 18 holes of championship golf, food and beverage services, a golf shop, and facilities for special events, group golf, and corporate outings.
