Goin’ to the Chapel is not just a place to stay, but an experience within itself. Built in 1875, this quaint chapel has been modernized while staying true to the structural integrity - and it even has some original pews!

The interior is a large studio space with all the amenities you could ask for. A stunning kitchen with pew seating, a cozy fireplace nook, and a tv and game area. One cozy corner houses a queen bed while a private back bedroom has a full bed. The full bathroom is decorated with a unique tile pattern that outlines the history of the chapel’s renovations.

Visually, Goin’ to the Chapel is a delight to the eyes. Elegant chandeliers amplify the high ceiling. Plush pink couches and a gold coffee table bring a pop of color to the black and white interiors. Stunning photography and artwork decorate the walls. A s’mores maker, a vintage record player, and eclectic dishware all add to this home’s unique characteristics. Goin’ to the Chapel is a romantic spot for the happy couple but works just as well for a small family getaway. Less than a mile from Lake Howard and Wright County Fairgrounds, the Chapel is a perfect landing spot for outdoor adventures.

PARKING NOTICE:
There is no parking between 2:30 AM and 7:00 AM on any street, state highway, or county road within the city limits of the City of Howard Lake. This provision is in force between November 1st and March 31st every year.
Parking is also prohibited immediately following a snowfall on any street or other right-of-way within the city limits until the street is plowed.

*HOUSE RULES*
• All guests must be over the age of 25 unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required.
• All check-ins are ''self'' and contactless! To provide this service we require a selfie of you holding your ID to verify your identity prior to check-in.
• Bookings made within 10 days of arrival will require additional documentation.
• Our Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require your email address.
• No smoking inside of the home.
• NO EVENTS - This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, Bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions.
• Pets Allowed with approval!
• Please respect the home and clean up after yourself!
• Quiet Hours – 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors!! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.
• Direct Bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee

Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.
